Joint Investigation by Prosecutors and Police
The investigation is led by prosecutors from the Mazovian Division of the National Prosecutor’s Office dealing with organized crime and corruption, in cooperation with officers of the Central Investigation Bureau of the Radom Police Administration. Prosecutor Przemysław Nowak noted that investigators obtained evidence indicating that Volodymyr B. assisted the direct perpetrators of the railway sabotage on Nov. 15‑16, 2025.

The suspect was detained on Nov. 20, 2025 by officers of the Central Investigation Bureau. Two days later, on Nov. 22, 2025, the prosecutor added a charge of acting on behalf of Russian intelligence and assisting the direct perpetrators Oleksandr K. and Yevhenii I. in executing the sabotage.
Logistical Support for Sabotage
The alleged assistance involved logistical facilitation of sabotage operations on line 7, including transporting Yevhenii I. to the planned operational area in September 2025, enabling reconnaissance of the site, selection of bomb placement locations, and placement of a surveillance device and a metal element on the rails.

A special team appointed by the Attorney General, comprising prosecutors from the Mazovian Division of the National Prosecutor’s Office and officials from the ABW and the Central Investigation Bureau, is conducting the proceedings.
