Polish opposition leader Adrian Zandberg slammed the discord between President Donald Tusk and Prime Minister Jarosław Nawrocki, urging Poland to strengthen its defense capability amid geopolitical shifts.
Shifting Global Power Dynamics
Adrian Zandberg reacted to reports of a Donald Trump envoy heading to Moscow to advise Russians on how to “buy” influence from the U.S. president. Such moves signal deep geopolitical changes that Poland must prepare for.
He urged the Polish people to draw lessons and strengthen defensive capabilities, noting that while defense spending is high, Poland’s actual capacity remains questionable.
Poland Left Out of Negotiations
Zandberg warned that the quarrel between President Tusk and Prime Minister Nawrocki harms Poland’s international image. The split isolates the country in talks on Ukraine and regional security.
With elite gossip spilling onto TikTok, he called for real coordination and a unified strategy, arguing that global tectonic shifts demand that Poland’s leaders act together, not as influencers.
Court System Under Stress
He blasted Justice Minister Waldemar Żurka for the way he manages the judiciary, accusing him of treating it like a frontier outpost instead of addressing real issues.
Zandberg pointed out that funds earmarked for court staff have been cut from the budget, worsening court back‑logs, and asked the minister what concrete steps he plans to reduce waiting times.
Health Minister Faces Accountability
Zandberg said the Health Minister should take responsibility for a budget that opens a 20‑billion‑zloty hole in public healthcare spending.
He criticized the government for promising shorter doctor queues and salary increases while the plan delivers the opposite, emphasizing that deception is unacceptable.
