On 28 November a railway worker near the village of Drzeńska in Lubuskie reported finding a package that resembled an explosive device.
Two dummy bombs confirmed
The Special Counter‑terrorism Unit of the Gorzów Wielkopolski Police later confirmed that there were not one but two fake explosives on the tracks.
Police point to deliberate placement
Over‑regional Police commander Maciej Kimet said the evidence suggests a deliberate act, and counter‑terrorists are on site checking for additional suspicious objects.
Train services remain suspended
Trains on the Wrocław‑Szczecin corridor between Kunowice and Rzepin are still halted, and police are pursuing those who left the devices.
Suspects in related railway sabotage investigation
