He believes that now it is likely to remain the same, because no one will risk a change in course that is far from the current trajectory.

After the presidential elections, Karol Nawrocki suggested he was waiting for an invitation to discuss with the prime minister. Dr. Mateusz Zaremba believes that Tusk sooner or later had to propose it. “There was silence between them for a long time, but they must finally start talking. Tusk should try to take the initiative, highlight the role of the government.”

Tusk spoke with Nawrocki the day after a teleconference of European leaders with US President Donald Trump.
