According to BBC reports, the son of the former U.S. president received a letter from Melania Trump’s lawyers. They asserted that his statements were “false, slanderous, humiliating and inciting” and that the first lady had suffered “extensive financial and reputational damage.” Consequently, the attorneys are demanding a retraction and an apology, or Hunter Biden will face a lawsuit in which Melania Trump would seek more than one billion dollars in damages.

At the beginning of August, Hunter Biden gave an interview to Andrew Callaghan in which he claimed that unpublished documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein “impede” Donald Trump. He stated that Epstein introduced Melania Trump to the Trump family and that the ties are “wide and deep.” The first lady’s lawyers said this theory was created by journalist and biographer Michael Wolff. Recently, he also reported to the Daily Beast that Melania Trump was acquainted with an Epstein associate and a Trump associate, but the outlet removed those remarks after the lawyer’s letter was received.

Donald Trump Confirms; Hunter Biden Reveals Next Move

Donald Trump confirmed the lawsuit threat on Thursday, August 14, stating, “I’ve actually been doing pretty well with these lawsuits. I told them: act. Jeffrey Epstein has nothing to do with how Melania and I met.
