Severe complications after surgery
On Thursday, December 4, Kazik Staszewski posted on Facebook that he was admitted to the hospital. He explained that the appendectomy had been performed incorrectly and that a surgical element had been left inside, leading to serious complications.

Close to the end of the road
Later, before 16:00, he posted a second update that a series of tests revealed a very severe condition and that doctors were considering a further operation.
He reported, “After the tests, the doctors told me that tonight I was close to the end of the road—like the same fate as my father. I probably will have to be cut.”
