The contest is an annual poll where young people, internet users, and a jury select the word, phrase, or expression that best captures the spirit of contemporary youth speech in Poland. The goal is not only to choose a fashionable term but also to document how the language of young people evolves through social media, conversations, and the internet, showcasing trends, memes, borrowed linguistic forms, and new meanings.
