Polish Security Chief Criticises US Strategy
On Wednesday, December 10, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, head of Poland’s National Security Bureau, was asked on RMF FM about the United States’ new national security strategy.
He said the strategy does not worry him and merely represents a re‑writing of Trump’s political concepts for international security, based largely on national egoism.
Europe’s Defensive Capacity Questioned
Cenckiewicz added that Europe practically lacks the means to effectively defend itself against a potential Russian attack and that he fears war.
US Strategy Criticises EU Migration and Censorship Policies

One chapter focuses on Europe and criticises the European Union for its migration policy, its dependence on the United States for security matters, and its efforts to censor online content.
White House Denies Defence One Allegations About “Pulling Poland Out”
The White House labeled a Defence One portal report as “fake news”, arguing that the published strategy does not intend to isolate Poland or other countries from the European Union. The alleged chapter titled “Make Europe Great Again” is said to propose cooperation with ideologically similar governments such as Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Poland, rather than forcing them out of the EU.
Proposed C5 Alliance Includes US, Russia, China, India, Japan
The strategy says a new “C5” international cooperation format would involve the United States, Russia, China, India, and Japan.
Press Office Remains Silent on Potential Annexes
When asked by Polish Radio whether the Defence One information could be included in an annex or other government documents, the White House press office declined to respond.
