Tusk Denies Nawrocki’s Allegations
On the social platform X, Prime Minister Donald Tusk replied to former President Karol Nawrocki’s statements. He said Nawrocki is “closer to a ruso‑follower and anti‑semitic Braun than to me,” confirming he had never questioned the claim.
Nawrocki Blames Tusk for Poland’s Problems
In an interview with Wp.pl, Nawrocki was asked whether he would collaborate with Tusk or with European‑parliamentarian Grzegorz Braun of the Polish Crown Confederation. He responded that he would work with any government but criticized the current prime minister. Nawrocki said Tusk’s policies are causing crises in public finances, healthcare, and Poland’s international standing, and that Tusk is harming Poland.
Presidential Spokesperson Criticises Tusk’s Tactics
Rafał Leśkiewicz, spokesperson for former President Nawrocki, addressed Tusk’s comment. He accused Tusk of dividing Poles, using “Putin‑style” methods, and involving special services in dirty politics. He said that when Tusk runs out of arguments, frustration leads to manipulation aimed at breaking Polish unity.
CBOS Poll Indicates Civic Coalition Leads
A recent CBOS survey shows that if parliamentary elections were held in December, the Civic Coalition would receive 35 % of the vote. Law and Justice would get 24.8 %, Confederation 14.2 %, the Polish Crown Confederation 8 %, and the Left 6.2 %. Other parties would fall below the 5 % threshold.
