Tusk Meets Zelensky. No Press Conference

On Friday December 19, former EU Commissioner Donald Tusk will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw’s Prime Minister’s office at 15:45, with no press conference planned afterward.

Meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office

Donald Tusk is scheduled to meet Volodymyr Zelensky at the Prime Minister’s office on Friday, 19 December, starting at 15:45, according to the Prime Minister’s office and the Polish Press Agency.

Polsat News reporter Arnold Nadolczak reported that after the meeting, no press conference will be held; politicians will give only brief statements.

Tusk’s Attendance at the EU Council Summit in Brussels

During the European Council summit in Brussels on 18–19 December, Donald Tusk participated in meetings with EU officials.

Government spokesman Adam Szłapka said that if the session did not run excessively long, Tusk would be able to talk with Ukrainian President Zelensky, emphasizing the importance of a meeting with the Polish prime minister.

Zelensky’s Visit to Warsaw: Encounters with Polish Leaders

During his Warsaw visit, President Zelensky met Prime Minister Karol Nawroki at the Presidential Palace.

After 13:00, he held a briefing with Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty and placed a wreath before a monument commemorating lawmakers who fell and were murdered during World War II.

At 14:00, Zelensky met Senate Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.
