An elderly woman over 80 was struck by a Toyota Prius on a pedestrian crossing on Galla Anonima Street in Bielany on Monday 22 December, and was taken to the hospital.
Incident Details
On Monday 22 December at about 1:00 p.m. a 80‑plus‑year‑old woman was hit on a pedestrian crossing without signal lights on Galla Anonima Street in Bielany. The Toyota Prius was travelling toward Broniewski Street.
Injuries Sustained
The collision caused the woman to fall, suffering injuries to her hand, leg and head, and she lost a small amount of blood.
Immediate Response
Witnesses provided first aid until medical rescue arrived, after which the woman was transported to a hospital. Police from Warsaw’s traffic unit later conducted further actions on the scene.

Police from Warsaw’s traffic unit took over the scene to carry out investigations after the ambulance left the site.
