Attack Details
On Sunday, 21 December at around 16:00, an individual wielding a machete attacked a passerby near the intersection of Dąbrowskiego and Kochanowskiego streets in Legionów.
The assailant struck the victim in the head area and then fled on a bicycle.
Police Response
Police and emergency medical services were dispatched. The Legionów County Police commander confirmed that a dangerous tool was used and that the victim is hospitalized.
Arrest and Investigation
Authorities focused on locating the attacker, identifying him as a soldier, and detaining him at the scene.
The arrested suspect is a non‑commissioned officer.

The Masovian Military Police opened a case under the supervision of the Military Prosecution Office in Warsaw‑Ursynów.
