Massive Crash on S8 Route Leaves 9 Injured, Including 5 Children

At about 1:10 p.m. on the S8 motorway in Przewodowice, a multi‑vehicle collision involving eight cars left nine people wounded, including five children.

Accident Details

At around 1:10 p.m. on the S8 in Przewodowice (393 km, Łódź voivodeship) heading toward Warsaw, eight passenger cars collided. A total of 20 people were in the vehicles.

Injuries Reported

The collision left nine people injured, including five children aged 10, 7, 4, and 3.

Rescue Operations

Firefighters from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Rawicze Mazowieckie, along with units of OSP Konopnica and OSP Kurzeszyn, were on the scene providing aid.

Road Closure

The S8 section toward Warsaw is now completely impassable. Drivers are advised to heed the authorities’ instructions and take alternate routes.

Temporary Shelter

A specialized tent was set up for the wounded. Delays on the route may last several hours.
