A serious crash involving two cars occurred on the provincial road 631 near Słupno, Wołomin County, around 18:30 on Friday, December 26.

Details of Collision

The incident happened by the Grill Bar at Górka, where a Skoda driver left his lane and collided head‑on with a Suzuki coming from the opposite direction.

Medical Response

One passenger from the Suzuki was injured and transported to hospital after receiving first aid on site by medical emergency teams.

Police Findings

Firefighters, medical crews and police were on scene; officers determined the Skoda driver was intoxicated, with an alcohol test reading nearly 2 promille. He was detained.

Road Closure

During rescue operations the road was blocked in both directions; police are investigating the exact circumstances.

This is the second major crash on DW631; the prior one in Nieporęce, Legionowo County injured six people including three children.
