A 15-year-old was detained after allegedly stabbing a 77-year-old woman in Wrocław on January 9.
Stabbing Incident in Wrocław
The incident occurred on January 9 around noon at Sztabowa Street in Wrocław. According to Police Commissioner Wojciech Jabłoński from the Wrocław City Police, a teenager allegedly stabbed the elderly woman multiple times before leaving the scene.
According to information obtained by Radio Zet, the attack on the 77-year-old woman happened “as she was getting out of a car.” “As a result of this incident, the victim was taken to the hospital,” added the police spokesman quoted by TVN24. The motive for the attack has not been determined.
15-Year-Old Detained
On January 14, police published online an image of the teenager recorded by surveillance cameras. Within a few hours, her identity was established.
“A 15-year-old resident of Wrocław was detained. Further proceedings in the case will be conducted by police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office and family court,” was stated in the communication.
