Tomasz Siemoniak: There were moments of tougher conversation

Minister-koordinator of special services Tomasz Siemoniak stated: “There were moments of tougher conversation, differences of opinion.” He described the meeting with Vice Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz as valuable for the president, allowing for precise discussions.

“A bit surprised”

Siemoniak expressed surprise at President Karol Nawrocki’s spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz’s comments, noting the meeting had confidentiality. He assured that special services were not involved in the election campaign and that the president received direct reports from service chiefs.

Nawrocki’s Spokesman: The President expects an explanation

Following the nearly three-hour meeting at the Presidential Palace, Leśkiewicz reported that the president expects full explanations regarding suspicions of special services’ involvement in the electoral process, particularly regarding information disclosure from investigation files.

The apartment affair

The “apartment affair” referenced by Leśkiewicz concerned a Gdańsk apartment previously owned by Nawrocki’s acquaintance, Jerzy Ż. Journalist Andrzej Stankiewicz explained that property information in Poland is public record, and all details about the apartment were accessible through official channels.
