Poland to Tie 300+ Benefit to Professional Activity for Foreigners

Poland will require foreign nationals to demonstrate professional activity in the country to receive the 300+ benefit under the “Dobry start” program.

Legislative Changes

The change will be included in a draft amendment to the regulation of the Council of Ministers of June 15, 2021, concerning the implementation of the “Dobry start” program.

This legal act will be adapted to align with changes introduced by a law from September 12, 2025, which aims to verify the right to family benefits for foreigners.

Benefit Requirements

Third-country citizens will only be eligible for the 800+ parental benefit and the 300+ benefit from the “Dobry start” program if they meet specific requirements related to their professional activity in Poland.

Work Requirement

As the second headline in the original article states, “No work, no 300+ benefit” – emphasizing the link between employment and eligibility for this specific benefit.
