An unidentified object fell and exploded early Wednesday night, about 2 a.m., on a cornfield in Osinyw, Lubelszczyzna, according to local media reports.
Police Investigation
Officers found scattered plastic and metal fragments, some scorched, within a radius of several dozen meters. Public relations officer Marcin Józwik said investigators are determining the origin of the debris. The area remains cordoned off for safety and evidence collection.
Impact on Residents
Józwik confirmed that residents of surrounding houses were unharmed, although some windows were shattered by the blast. Local authorities reported no injuries and that the neighbourhood remained largely safe.
