Polish tax offices to extend hours Jan. 26-30 for KSeF open days, offering guidance on new e-invoicing system.
Extended Hours for KSeF Assistance
Between January 26-30 of this year, tax offices (except specialized ones) will work longer hours – until 8:00 PM. During this time and on open days, anyone interested can meet with an office employee to receive individual explanations, ask questions, and test logging into KSeF and receiving invoices. On-duty office employees will indicate the most important steps to take to prepare for using KSeF.
ZAW-FA Form Submission Available
During a visit to the office, you can also submit the ZAW-FA form, which is “Notification of granting or revoking permissions to use the National e-Invoice System”. This can be done in paper or electronic form – via the e-tax office platform.
Important for Companies and Local Government Units
This is important for companies, local government units and other entities that are not natural persons (e.g., foundations). If they do not have a qualified electronic seal (they cannot authenticate themselves in KSeF with it), they must start by submitting the ZAW-FA notification to the tax office. This way, they will be able to appoint a person to handle KSeF, who is authorized, among other things, to grant further permissions to other people, receive and access invoices, and issue invoices.
Sole Proprietors Are Exempt
Sole proprietor entrepreneurs do not need to submit the ZAW-FA form because by law they have full ownership rights.
Wednesdays with KSeF Training Program
Until February 11, the “Wednesdays with KSeF – KSeF in a nutshell” training campaign is underway. Trainings take place every Wednesday.
During the trainings, the most important information about KSeF is provided.
Additional Information Available
More information about the trainings and the National e-Invoice System can be found at https://ksef.podatki.gov.pl/ and on the National Tax Information hotline at: 22 330 03 30.
