KSeF Mandatory from February 1, 2026: Tax Offices Host Open Day on January 31

Polish tax offices will host an open day on January 31, 2026, preparing businesses for the KSeF e-invoicing system launching February 1.

Phased Implementation of KSeF

The National e-Invoice System (KSeF) will be used for issuing, sending, receiving, and storing invoices in business transactions. In the first phase, the system will cover companies that had turnover exceeding 200 million PLN in 2024. The second phase, starting April 1, 2026, will include remaining companies except the smallest ones, which will be covered starting January 1, 2027.

Open Day Details

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, an open day dedicated to KSeF will be held. According to the Ministry of Finance, tax offices (except specialized ones) will be open from 9:00 to 15:00. During this time, interested parties can meet with tax office employees for individual explanations, ask questions, and test the KSeF system for login and receiving invoices.

Preparation Requirements

According to the ministry, on-duty employees will provide information about the system and discuss the most important steps needed to prepare for its use. One such step is submitting the ZAW-FA form, which enables access to KSeF for entities operating in forms other than sole proprietorships that do not possess qualified seals.
