A tragic collision in Duzgunce left three dead – including a 21‑year‑old truck driver and his passenger – after a driver failed to yield to an approaching vehicle.

At approximately 16:00, an IVECO truck driver in Duzgunce failed to yield to a Volvo truck approaching from the left. The two vehicles collided, killing the 21‑year‑old Volvo driver and his passenger. The IVECO driver was also injured and Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Death of three people in Podkarpacie
Another fatal crash occurred earlier this week in the village of Grochowe in Podkarpacie. A 43‑year‑old tow truck driver forced a right of way at an intersection and collided with a Seat. Unfortunately, the three passengers in the Seat, aged 19, 18, and 12, died. Police reported that the tow truck driver was intoxicated, with nearly 1.5‰ of alcohol in his system. The man was arrested.
