At 19:49 on Sunday, a four-vehicle collision occurred on the Salomea-Wolica Route in Warsaw’s Włochy district. The driver of a Volkswagen fled on foot.
Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a Volkswagen Golf struck a Volkswagen Passat. The Golf then crashed into barriers, bounced off, and hit a Renault traveling in the middle lane. The Renault subsequently collided with a Toyota.
Driver Actions
Following the crash, the Volkswagen Golf driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The Volkswagen driver was injured and received medical attention from an emergency medical team.
Previous Incident
According to provided information, the same driver had previously caused a collision near Janek in Pruszków County and also fled. At the Salomea-Wolica Route site, firefighters, emergency medical services, and several police crews are working to determine the circumstances and identify the driver.
Traffic Impact
Severe disruptions are reported: three lanes are blocked in the city-bound direction, and drivers should expect significant delays.
