Legal Basis

Mandatory training obligations arise from collective agreements, other collective arrangements, internal regulations, statutory provisions, or individual employment contracts. This also applies to training ordered directly by a supervisor.

Employer Obligations

Such mandatory training must be funded by the employer. To the extent possible, it should be scheduled during the employee’s regular working hours.
