The education ministry has consistently stressed its intent to discuss proposed changes with teachers and students. However, a 21-question survey recently dispatched to schools seeks input on solutions already enacted in a draft bill.

Preemptive Approval Raises Concerns

The draft bill implementing the solutions—currently being polled among youth and teachers—was approved by the Committee of Ministers’ Standing Council on January 22, 2026, prior to the consultation process.
