BMW and VW Collision in Wawrzec. “I’m innocent because BMW was going too fast”

BMW collided with delivery van on Miedzeszyński Wal near Skalnicowa Street Saturday afternoon; VW driver denies fault, blaming BMW’s speed.

The Collision

On Saturday, February 7th in the afternoon, a collision occurred between a passenger BMW and a delivery van of the VW brand on Miedzeszyński Wal, near the intersection with Skalnicowa Street heading toward the city center.

According to preliminary findings, the driver of the delivery van, while changing lanes from right to left, struck the BMW traveling in the left lane.

Police Response

Police and a medical rescue team were called to the scene for one person, but no one was transported to the hospital.

Differing Accounts

According to reports from the scene, police indicated the VW driver as the cause of the collision, but he did not admit fault. He claimed the BMW driver was going too fast and therefore does not feel responsible for the incident.

Due to conflicting positions of the participants, police have referred the case to court, which will determine the course and liability for the collision.
