Details of the Incident
Around 1 AM, a 62-year-old man driving a Peugeot from the Serock direction hit a pedestrian crossing the road in the middle. The force of the collision was so severe that the victim fell into a roadside ditch.
Medical Response and Victim’s Condition
Emergency responders conducted CPR on-site before transporting the critically injured man to the hospital. Unfortunately, he died around 2:30 AM despite medical efforts. Preliminary findings suggest the victim was approximately 40 years old and had an alcohol level of about 2.5 per mille in his blood system.
Driver and Investigation Status
The Peugeot driver was sober. Fire services, a medical rescue team, and police were present at the scene, with the police investigating the exact circumstances under the prosecutor’s supervision. National Road 62 was completely blocked during the operation.
Identity of the Deceased
