Two Arrested in 100,000 Złoty Maserati Theft Case

Police detained two suspects accused of stealing a luxury Maserati worth 100,000 złoty in Warsaw.

Vehicle Theft Reported in Early December

In early December 2025, a man reported to the Warsaw II District Police Station about the theft of his Maserati, worth approximately 100,000 złoty, parked on Figowa Street. The reporter explained the vehicle had certainly not been towed away, indicating a crime had been committed.

Police Investigation Leads to Suspects

After receiving the report, detectives and criminal police officers immediately took over the case. Parallel investigations quickly determined that two men, aged 19 and 32, living in the Żyrardów area, had committed the theft with forced entry.

Suspects Detained in Joint Operation

Based on collected evidence, a prosecutor from the Warsaw Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office issued a decision for the suspects’ compulsory detention. Several days later, officers from the Criminal and Investigation Departments detained the 32-year-old in Żyrardów, while the 19-year-old was apprehended in Warsaw’s Bemów district. Both were taken to the station on Malczewskiego Street.

Formal Charges and Pre-Trial Detention

The two men were charged with vehicle theft with forced entry, acting jointly and in concert. At the prosecutor’s request, the court applied a three-month pre-trial detention measure. They face up to 10 years in prison for the alleged crime, with the Warsaw Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office supervising the proceedings.
