What Is Known About the 47-Year-Old?
Residents of Chorzów Starego, where the attack occurred, had previously expressed concerns about the man’s behavior. “It was scary to walk near him. He was a disturbed man. Everyone knew a tragedy would eventually happen. He had already served time for robbery but was released again,” said a local resident quoted by “Faktem.” Another resident added, “He lived in a derelict building near the krajcok. Years ago, he was seen running around the city with a knife. Two years ago, I reported this to social services, but they did nothing. Authorities had it on file.”
