Polish GDP Growth Approaches 4% as Q4 2025 Hits 13-Quarter High

Poland’s GDP reached 4% year-on-year growth in Q4 2025, marking the strongest quarterly performance in over three years.

According to GUS data, in Q4 2025, seasonally unadjusted real GDP increased by 4% compared to the same period of the previous year, compared to 3.8% in Q3. Seasonally adjusted real GDP increased by 1% compared to the previous quarter, compared to 0.9% in Q3, and was 3.6% higher than a year ago.

Economists’ Assessment

GUS confirmed today what was already known for two weeks – that GDP grew by 4% year-on-year. On a quarterly basis, GDP grew by 1% quarter-on-quarter, which confirms the good momentum with which the Polish economy is entering the new year. Economists from Pekao bank maintain their forecast that in 2026 Polish GDP will grow by 4%, with risks to the upside.
