New Witnesses Emerge in Iwona Wieczorek Disappearance Case

Prosecutor confirms new witnesses in the case while downplaying connection to Zatoka Sztuki investigation.

Prosecutor on Zatoka Sztuki Connection

Eryk Stasielak, head of the Malopolski Department for Organized Crime and Corruption in Krakowie, spoke with “Fakt” about the investigation into the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek. He confirmed that the Zatoka Sztuki version is one of many being considered, but denied any connection between their proceedings and a wanted notice issued for the former head of Zatoka Sztuki.

“We don’t think in a tunnel and don’t focus on one version, we consider all,” Stasielak stated. “However, I will not say whether it is more or less probable, because I cannot say that.”

Zatoka Sztuki Background

Former Zatoka Sztuki head Marcin Turczyński was sentenced to six years in prison for sexual offenses, including sexual intercourse with minors in exchange for financial benefits. Speculation has emerged that recent actions in the Iwona Wieczorek case are connected to Zatoka Sztuki.

Investigative journalist Mikołaj Podolski reported that Krystian W., nicknamed “Krystek” and convicted of sexual offenses, was partying with Iwona Wieczorek in a Sopot club before her disappearance, despite his claim during interrogations that he did not know her.

New Witnesses in the Case

The head of the Prosecutor’s Archive X confirmed that new witnesses have come forward in the Iwona Wieczorek case. Investigators are currently interrogating these new witnesses, following a successful public appeal for information.

“Our latest appeal to come forward in this case has had an effect,” Stasielak said. “We are doing everything to solve this case, but it requires a bit of time and patience.”

Prosecutor’s Current Activities

Investigators are not currently conducting any intensive actions with “Krystek,” according to unofficial findings. One examined thread concerns a cleaning company that was operating in the area where Iwona Wieczorek was last seen on the day of her disappearance.
