More Poland 2050 MPs are exiting as the party fractures amid an escalating power struggle between Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz and Paulina Hennig-Kloska.
Escalating Internal Conflict
For some parliamentarians, this is a signal that the conflict between the camps of Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz and Paulina Hennig-Kloska is no longer a factional dispute but is leading to a complete split in the party.
Meeting Details and Lost Trust
An internal online meeting with Paulina Hennig-Kloska took place on Sunday. “Paulina pointed to the moment when she clearly lost trust in Katarzyna. After the elections, they met at the ministry and talked face-to-face. After 30 minutes, the details of this conversation were in the media, in an unfavorable light for Paulina,” a meeting participant reported. As she added, “it was directly stated that in such a situation it is difficult to speak about a partnership cooperation.”
Partnership in Question
The situation between the two leaders has deteriorated to the point where working together appears increasingly difficult, with more party members reportedly considering their options.
