A head-on collision between a Toyota and Opel on Bysławska Street in Wawer on February 19 resulted in the Toyota driver being hospitalized and traffic disruptions for about two hours.

On Thursday, February 19, around 12:00, at ulica Bysławska near number 82 in Wawer, a head-on collision occurred between a Toyota and an Opel. The Toyota driver was transported to the hospital.

Preliminary findings indicate the Opel driver, a Ukrainian citizen, for unspecified reasons, crossed into the opposing lane, causing the frontal collision with the Toyota. Firefighters, medical rescue teams, and police were dispatched to the scene.

Aftermath and Traffic Impact

Firefighters secured the incident site, addressed leaking fluids, and disconnected batteries from the damaged vehicles. Medical personnel examined the accident participants. The Toyota driver was taken to the hospital.

Due to emergency operations and police work at the scene, traffic on ulica Bysławska was diverted in one direction for approximately two hours. Further proceedings were handled by officers from the Traffic Department.
