On Thursday, February 19, before 3 PM, a serious accident occurred at number 24 Drewny Street in Wilanów involving three vehicles: a BMW, Honda, and Peugeot. The incident took place on the lane heading toward central Warsaw, with the left lane blocked during emergency services’ operations.

Collision Sequence

Initial findings indicate that a BMW driver, exiting a side street, attempted to turn left onto Drewny Street toward Konstancin, forcing the right of way from a properly proceeding Honda. The Honda collided with the BMW’s side and rear wheel, subsequently hitting a Peugeot that was also involved in the accident.

Injuries and Response

The drivers of the BMW and Peugeot were uninjured. One person traveling in the Honda required medical assistance. The injured person, preliminarily diagnosed with a broken arm, was treated by a medical rescue team and then transported to the hospital.

Traffic Impact

Police from Warsaw’s Road Traffic Department conducted further investigations at the scene. The left lane of Drewny Street toward central Warsaw remained blocked during the services’ operations.
