Prosecution files indictment against six individuals involved in large-scale amphetamine derivative production in Grojec.
Indictment Filed Against Organized Crime Group
The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Radom sent an indictment to the District Court in Radom on February 20, 2026, against six people accused of participating in an organized criminal group and producing psychotropic substances on a large scale in the Grojec municipality. According to the prosecution, production took place on a fruit farm, and the seized quantities indicate activity aimed at introducing drugs into circulation.
The indictment covers two Polish citizens – Rafał K. and Konrad K. – and four Dutch citizens: Rachid A., Steven J.G., Yakup S., and Roemer C. They are accused of producing 576 kg and 405 grams of psychotropic substances, including 475 kg and 477 grams of mefedron and 100 kg and 928 grams of 3-CMC, from June to September 2024.
Additional Charges and Detention
In addition to drug production charges, the prosecutor also accused the defendants of possessing significant amounts of marijuana, amphetamine, and methamphetamine. Konrad K. is accused of committing the acts under conditions of recidivism. Five of the accused are to stand trial under conditions of temporary detention.
Another individual, Kamil N., a resident of Grojec, was also charged with assisting in the crime by storing production equipment and chemical compounds in a rented utility room in Wilków Drugi.
Police Investigation and Discovery
The investigation began in September 2024. On September 15, 2024, police discovered a complete drug production infrastructure on a property in Wola Krobowska belonging to Konrad K. Officers seized 140 hermetically sealed foil bags each containing 1 kg of mefedron ready for distribution, along with a production line and various raw materials.
During searches of residential premises, police also found two long-barreled automatic firearms with ammunition, a Hatsan pneumatic carbine, and a Walther CP 88 pneumatic pistol with ammunition. The prosecution stated that the detainees actively participated in drug production.
Legal Proceedings
Rafał K., Rachid A., Steven J.G., Yakup S., and Roemer C. were temporarily arrested on September 18, 2024, by decision of the District Court in Grojec. Konrad K. was temporarily arrested in this case on May 15, 2025. After the completion of the investigation, the indictment has been sent to the District Court in Radom.
The accused face a penalty of 3 to 20 years of imprisonment. The black market value of the seized drugs is estimated at approximately 33 million zlotys.
