The newborn was discovered on August 25 at 6:00 PM. “The infant was calm and well-cared for,” stated the Carmelite Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus. This marks the sixth child brought to the Sosnowiec “Window of Life,” which has been active since 2009. The first infant was saved on March 19, 2018. Since then, the sisters have rescued three additional boys and a girl.

The Sosnowiec “Window of Life” is situated at 25 Matki Teresy Kierocińskiej Street on the Piastów district. It is managed by the Carmelite Sisters of the local congregation. The facility operates 24/7. When opened, an alarm activates immediately, prompting the on-duty sister to respond swiftly and summon medical assistance.
