A fire broke out in overgrown, unused land in the Podwale street area of Łomianki, Warsaw West County, during the afternoon hours.
The fire engulfed dry vegetation close to the Vistula River, and the resulting smoke was visible from a considerable distance.

Several fire crews were dispatched to the scene, including firefighters from Warsaw Rescue and Fire Unit No. 11 and volunteers from the Łomianki Volunteer Fire Department (OSP).
