Union Negotiations with Dino Management
The “Solidarity” trade union is in talks with the management of the Dino retail chain regarding the working conditions of its employees. Several trade organizations represent Dino workers, each conducting separate negotiations with the employer. NSZZ “Solidarity” remains the largest union within the company.
The meeting between “Solidarity” representatives and Dino Polska’s management took place on March 11, 2026. Union chair Renata Kaim emphasized the meeting’s substantive nature, allowing for the presentation of key employee demands.
Key Issues Raised in Discussions
During discussions with Dino Polska’s management, several topics concerning daily work in the stores were addressed. These included the operation of bottle return machines, overtime pay, and procedures for submitting and approving vacation requests.
Union representatives also raised concerns about changes to work organization without contract amendments, the use of surveillance, and employee productivity assessments. Wage increases were also a significant topic of discussion.
Union Aims and Company Growth
“Solidarity” representatives state the primary goal of the talks is to improve working conditions for Dino store employees and find solutions to address employee concerns. Dino Polska is currently one of the fastest-growing food retail chains in Poland.
As of early 2026, the company operated over 3,000 stores across Poland and employed approximately 55,000 people, continuing its dynamic expansion.
