Tractor Collides with Scooter Carrying Two Teenagers Near Warsaw

On March 23rd, emergency services responded to a collision between a tractor and an electric scooter carrying two 14-year-olds on Przyczółkowa Street.

Accident Details

Shortly after 6:00 PM on Monday, March 23rd, emergency services were dispatched to an accident at the intersection of Przyczółkowa and Łukasza Drewny streets. Initial reports indicated a tractor had struck a scooter rider.

Emergency medical teams, two fire crews, a Polish Medical Air Rescue (LPR) helicopter, and police were sent to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities began to establish the sequence of events.

The Collision

A tractor with a partially loaded trailer was traveling along Przyczółkowa Street, heading from the city towards Konstancin-Jeziorna. Two 14-year-olds were riding a single electric scooter in the same direction.

Preliminary investigations suggest the teenagers attempted to overtake the tractor on the right. Simultaneously, the tractor driver began turning right onto a field, resulting in a collision.

Injuries and Response

One of the boys was unharmed. The other sustained serious injuries after being run over by the tractor’s trailer. Both teenagers were not wearing helmets.

Rescuers provided first aid at the scene before transporting the injured teenager via LPR helicopter to a Warsaw hospital. Police conducted a thorough investigation, including measurements and documentation of the accident site.
