Inspectors from the prosecutor’s office and the State Aviation Accident Investigation Commission are currently conducting operations at the site, with two separate teams working independently to fully clarify the incident.

The F‑16 Crash in Radom
On Thursday night, during exercises preceding an AirShow, an F‑16 crashed at Radom Airport, killing Major Maciej “Slab” Krakowian. The accident occurred as the 28‑th and 30‑th shows were scheduled, but the shows were subsequently cancelled. Major Krakowian was a seasoned pilot with over 1,400 flight hours, 1,200 of which were on the F‑16, and had served as an instructor and team leader at the Tactical Air Base in Krzesin.
