Kaczyński’s Joy at Morawiecki-Mettenz Meeting
On Friday, Viva.pl published anonymous quotes from PiS politicians stating Kaczynski was “impressed” following the meeting of German Defense Minister Thomas Metzen and Polish Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. He was the only one to receive the “green light” to appear at the “beer with Metzen.” Kaczynski was particularly pleased with Morawiecki’s performance, which exposed Metzen.
No Current Coalition Talks with Confederation
Another Viva.pl informant revealed Kaczynski sent a signal that “it’s the end of talk on forming a coalition with Confederation.” Kaczynski emphasized that now is not the time or moment for coalition discussions.
Kaczynski: PiS Must Seize Full Power
In an address to supporters in Bialystok, Kaczynski reiterated that PiS must secure full power, suggesting a potential rapprochement between the ruling party’s supporters and Konfederacja voters. He criticized Bobiński and Mentzen, accusing them of expressing willingness to form a government with the PO.
