15 Ukrainians Forcibly Returned to Border by Polish Border Guard

Fifteen Ukrainian nationals were forcibly returned to the border by the Polish Border Guard under a government order.

Reason for Removal

The individuals were removed pursuant to Article 302 (1) 9 of the Polish Act of December 12, 2013, which allows for the removal of foreigners in cases concerning national defense, security, crime prevention, or Poland’s general interests.

Individual Criminal Records

Those involved in the procedure had multiple convictions for severe crimes including drug possession, theft, robbery, forgery, drunk driving, and organizing illicit border crossings.

Consequences

The removed individuals were added to Poland’s list of undesirable residents and barred from entering Poland for 5-10 years for committing penalties outlined in the aforementioned Article 302 (1) 9.
