President Donald Trump revealed a plan concerning Iran, indicating an operation against the country would continue for another two to three weeks.
Trump stated that a change in regime has occurred in Iran and that Tehran will not possess nuclear weapons.
Ongoing Negotiations with Iran
Trump informed reporters of ongoing negotiations with Iranian representatives, suggesting the new regime is more accessible.
“Iran does not have to make a deal. It’s a different regime. It’s much more accessible,” Trump said, adding that a deal is possible because Iran wants it more than he does.
Operation to Last Several Weeks
The U.S. operation against Iran is expected to last for several more weeks, according to Trump’s statements.
Dismisses Threats from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard
Trump indicated he is not concerned by threats from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to attack U.S. companies in the region.
