A 42-year-old woman in Kozienice County, Poland, crashed her car with her three-year-old child while nearly three times over the legal alcohol limit.
Dangerous Driving Leads to Crash
A dangerous incident occurred on March 30th around 3:20 PM on a provincial road between Gniewoszów and Sarnów. The 42-year-old driver of a Toyota lost control of her vehicle while using her mobile phone and with a three-year-old child as a passenger.
The vehicle veered into a roadside ditch and overturned. Police determined the driver had almost three promille of alcohol in her system.
Child Hospitalized, Driver Faces Charges
The three-year-old child was transported to a hospital for necessary examinations. The driver’s license has been suspended, and the court will determine her further legal fate.
Police Appeal for Road Safety
Police are again urging drivers to exercise caution and responsibility. Driving under the influence, using a phone while driving, and lack of concentration are major causes of serious road accidents.
These behaviors pose a real threat not only to the driver but, above all, to passengers – including children – and other road users.
