Warsaw Roads Fully Reopen After Summer Construction Work

As students count down the final days of summer, Polish road workers complete major summer construction projects, reopening highways and major roads across the capital.

Wisłostrada Reopens

The two separate lanes of the Wisłostrada will be accessible to drivers starting September 1st. The asphalt replacement project improved the road’s surface and drainage.

Marsa Street Renovation Completed

The renovated Marsa Street, featuring a new smooth asphalt surface, will reopen on September 1st, allowing all traffic to resume.

New Człuchowska Road Section Opens

The extended Człuchowska Street, with two lanes and bike lanes on both sides, will open to drivers on September 1st following private investment.

Remaining Summer Projects

Despite the end of the summer vacation period, road construction and renovations will continue throughout September with planned overnight work and weekend resurfacing projects. Remaining projects include the continues renovation of Modlińska Street and continuation of construction on the Połczyńska Street project.
