The Israeli army spokesperson, Kamal Penhasi, appealed in Persian via X, urging Iranians to avoid trains and railway areas, stating they are risking their lives.
Defense Minister Announces Continued Attacks
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Kac stated that the Israel Defense Forces have been instructed to “continue attacks with full force on the infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime.”
Trump Issues Ultimatum to Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran, demanding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for navigation and threatening to bomb Iranian power plants and bridges if the demand isn’t met by 8 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday (2 AM Wednesday in Poland).
Trump asserted that Iran could be destroyed overnight, specifically referencing the potential timeframe of Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Iran Blocks Strait of Hormuz, Launches Attacks
Following the start of the conflict between the U.S. and Israel with Iran on February 28th, Iranian authorities blocked the Strait of Hormuz—a critical oil and gas export route.
Iran also initiated attacks against Israel and targets in Gulf countries, including U.S. bases and civilian petrochemical infrastructure.
Ceasefire Proposals Rejected
On Monday, reports indicated that both Iran and the U.S. rejected a 45-day ceasefire proposal mediated by Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey.
Pakistan’s Mediation Efforts
Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, stated on X that Pakistan’s “positive and productive efforts, undertaken in good faith and with commitment, to halt the war are approaching a critical, sensitive stage.”
