The bodies of a 32-year-old mother and her two daughters, ages 6 and 8, were found in a septic tank in Helenów Pierwszy, Konin County, Wielkopolskie Province, Poland on Sunday, August 31.
Man Reports Family Missing
A resident of Helenów Pierwszy contacted authorities on August 31 reporting the disappearance of his 32-year-old wife and their two daughters, ages 6 and 8. The man told local Konin newspaper Przegląd Koniński that he observed “suspicious signs” near the family’s septic tank.
Emergency Rescue Efforts
When emergency services arrived on the scene, they found the resident man and a bystander attempting to provide aid to the mother and one of the girls. The septic tank still contained the second daughter.
Family Members Pronounced Dead
A physician on the scene declared the woman dead, while attemptes were made to revive the girls through emergency resuscitation measures. However, they were subsequently transported to hospital showing no signs of life.
