Poland’s State-Owned Railways Announce East Warsaw Station Modernization

Poland’s State Railways to overhaul Warsaw East station in 4 billion zł project, with submission deadline October 2025.

Project Details

PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe has announced a full-scale reconstruction of Warsaw East station, estimated to cost approximately 4 billion zł. The deadline for submission is October 23, 2025.

Scope of Work

Reworking all platforms and underground passages, building new roof coverings over the entire station island, installing elevators and moving walks, and reconstructing turnouts and control systems are part of the project.

Pradziszcz Railway Yard Modernization

The construction of a new railway viaduct over the planned Aleja Tysiąclecia is planned, which will integrate railway and urban transport systems in Praga.
