Polar display above Poland: Who will be able to see it?

A coronal mass ejection caused by a three-hour solar flare may trigger the display, with experts predicting it could reach G3 storm levels and possibly create a polar display visible in northern Poland.

Display Conditions

Strong geomagnetic storms may cause not only red auroras, but also green ones over the northern horizon. The best chances of observing the display are for Poland’s northern regions, though it may also be visible in central and southern areas.

Timing of the Event

The exact occurrence remains uncertain, with measurements from satellites 1.5 million kilometers from Earth needed to confirm the necessary conditions for the display.

Where to Watch

The display may be visible across the northern regions, and depending on conditions, central and southern parts of the country may also see it. However, the expert stress that the exact outcome depends on the actual incoming CME’s parameters.
