PiS MP Photographed Journalist in Parliament, Claiming “To Show My Wife What’s Trending”

A PiS (Law and Justice party) MP photographed a journalist in the Sejm (Polish Parliament), stating he wanted to show his wife what was fashionable in Warsaw.

Incident Before Kaczyński Press Conference

The incident occurred before a press conference by Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm. Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz, a TVP journalist, described the event in the program “Bez trybu.”

Former Infrastructure Minister and PiS MP Andrzej Adamczyk reportedly took out his phone and began photographing her and an employee of the PiS Press Office.

Sejm Corridor Recording

A recording from the Sejm corridor captured the event. It shows Adamczyk showing something on his phone to PiS MP Zbigniew Kuźmiuk. Both were seated behind the journalist while she spoke in the Sejm corridor.

“What’s Trending in Warsaw”

During the conversation, Adamczyk said, “My wife always has trouble deciding what to wear. I’ll show her a picture of what’s trending in Warsaw,” and then laughed.

Further Comments and Reaction

PiS MP Dorota Arciszewska-Mielewczyk approached the two MPs and asked, “Looking at the heels?” prompting further laughter. Dobrosz-Oracz stated it took her some time to process the situation, and the MP did not apologize.

Dobrosz-Oracz added, “It took me a while to digest this.”
