On Friday, April 24th, at approximately 8:25 PM, a serious accident occurred on Trasie W-Z in Warsaw, involving a pedestrian being struck by a Toyota passenger car.

The incident took place near the Stare Miasto tram stop, on the roadway heading towards Praga.

Circumstances of the Collision

The accident occurred near a Vienna-style tram stop. Reports indicate a tram was entering the Stare Miasto stop as the pedestrian began walking from the sidewalk towards it.

At that moment, the pedestrian was struck by a Toyota traveling alongside the tram.

Immediate Response

Witnesses provided initial first aid to the injured woman immediately following the collision.

Paramedics then took over care, assessing her condition as critical before transporting her to the hospital.

Police Investigation

Police conducted investigations at the scene, securing the area and determining the exact circumstances of the incident.

Efforts were also underway to locate the tram involved to obtain surveillance footage that could help reconstruct the events.

Traffic Disruption

Following the collision, traffic flow on Trasie W-Z towards Praga was partially blocked.

Traffic was fully restored around 10:15 PM.
